along the side
crows gather to feast
after a busy night

faster and faster
until we forget
that the journey is sometimes
greater than the destination

beep

written for NaPoWriMo.  The theme today is to write a poem about a subject without mentioning the subject (much like Elgar’s Enigma Variations).  I chose to follow Elgar’s example and write variations on that theme from a number of different perspectives.
