A young desert buzzard named Fred
refused to eat things that were dead
……he said, “’cause I think
……that corpses all stink
so I’d much rather eat garlic bread.”

My blogging friend, Lynn, accidentally inspired me to write a limerick about a buzzard.
This is my second (and much lighter-hearted) response to the “southwest” prompt at dVerse
Love it… a perfect limerick, and though people say garlic stinks I think that corpses might be worse.
Nice! I like the extra internal rhyme in there too.
Bravo, Bryan(and Fred)! This is hilarious (and I like garlic bread too)!
oh way to start my morning with a chuckle! LOVE it! 🙂
Ha! Love! It!
What fun…I love it ~
Smiling ear to ear. Good one, Bryan. Makes me want to write a limerick.
