NaPoWriMo Day 7 – Poetry Teacher’s Rough Day

Mr. Smith, who was a poetry teacher
thought his students should try their hands
at writing a form called “tritina”

One girl, Christina, said “Tritina
form sound too hard…so please, teacher,
let me, instead, try a shape poem about hands!

“Why not, instead, write my form about hands,”
said Smith, “I’m sure that you’ll do a fine tritina!”
But Christina continued to whine to the teacher.

The teacher just wrung his hands and exclaimed,”just TRY Tina!”
