Flight of Eagles – Carpe Diem Tan Renga Challenge

For the Carpe Diem Tan Renga challenge this week, we were asked to turn the following haiku into a Tan Renga

flight of the eagle
stepping into the world of dreams –
a silent cry

(c) Chèvrefeuille

The above haiku inspired the following:

flight of the eagle
stepping into the world of dreams –
a silent cry (Chèvrefeuille)

I listen enraptured to
the sound of 42 strings (Bryan)

First of all, to understand my completion, you must know that I’m a huge jazz fan, and one of my favourite artists is Pat Metheny.  On his album, Imaginary Day, one of the tracks was entitled, “Into the Dream”.  This is a solo piece which Pat plays on his 42-string guitar.
