“The Stalker” – a slightly creepy ‘spine’ poem for dVerse

The “Form For All” challenge for dVerse is to use book spines to create a poem.  I decided to cheat a bit and use the spines of some of my CDs.  I apologize for the blurriness of the photo…but I have a bear of a time photographing CD spines.

In plain text, my poem is as follows:

Cool Secret Story:

I can see your house from here
at the end of the evening

(Lucky to be me!)

  1. Love the idea of using CD titles for a spine poem! I just might have to try doing one of those myself. 🙂

  2. Whoa – that does have a really sinister undertone. Well done. The “spine poem” designation would still fit with your CD variation, here (at least better than “sorted-book”), so this still works. Great job.

    • Thank you! I debated between “Lucky to be me” or “We are in love” for the last line…it’s interesting how one line can completely change the meaning of a poem. This was a great challenge!
