    This one by John Cooper Clarke always gives me a chuckle:
    “to convey one’s mood
    in seventeen syllables
    is very diffic…”

    • Yes…that’s a great one too! Or…
      to write a haiku
      remember to stop at the
      seventeenth syllab…

      (can’t remember who wrote that)

    • probably…allergies to various poetic forms is more common than you might realize. Shakespeare himself developed an allergy late in his life…his last sonnet did him in (alas he did not have an epi pen/iambic pentameter was his end) 🙂
